Planned 2023 kidding season breedings

Once you are notified that your animal is born you have 48 hours to place a half down deposit on your kid.

Kids must be paid in full prior to transportation is arranged.

When making your reservation, please give us your name, email, address, and phone number so that we can easily reach you when your kid is born.

Buyer is responsible for all transport costs.  This includes, but not limited to crates, airline tickets, and vet costs associated with a health certificate to cross state lines/fly.  We will use airlines out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The breeder, reserves the first right to retain any kid born.

ATTENTION:  MUST READ BEFORE DEPOSIT

1. Intact Kids are disbudded(NO EXCEPTION)

2. wethers can go horned but entire price is due by 3 days old to not disbud and if you back out on the purchase you will forfeit the entire amount.

3. Kids started on the bottle before leaving as bottle babies and can go as early as 7 days old on the bottle(as long as vet has kids disbudded). **if being flown they must be 4 weeks old**

4. We will not dam raise kids as this can cause the udder on our show does to become lopsided or injured and then you are more likely to end up with wild kids.

5. We have the right to change any breeding plan at any time.

6. We can not guarantee any goat or kid will receive his her or her  *M, *B, +B, SG, CH or GCH until ADGA confirms qualifications are completed. ADGA has been behind for a few years on entries of wins, milking records and "other"so we can estimate to the best of our ability on if a kid or goat has qualified but until ADGA confirms we cannot guarantee any thing. Purchase of any animal prior to us being able to have proof from ADGA is at the buyers discretion and does not enter us into a binding agreement that the animal will have the coding before or after its name. We will not replace, refund or exchange should one not qualify after purchase but we will do due diligence to attempt to try to correct. (IE. should it say the parent is pending GCH and the animal is then found to lack a leg due to numbers etc by ADGA we will continue to show and do our due diligence to get the final leg.). ADGA being behind has made these things very difficult but we are doing our best to stay with the numbers and information provided.

7. IvyWild holds the right to terminate any sale at anytime per their discretion with a full refund of what has been paid to date.

8. Kids are to be picked up/transported to their new homes by 4 weeks of age. If this is not done by 4 weeks old a $2 a day charge will be added.  If you are purchasing multiple kids and they are to be born at different times.  We will CONSIDER, but will not promise holding your kids until all can be transported together if you wish.  We cannot hold for months on end.

8.  *HEIGHT of your animal is not guaranteed.

9. Health of the animal sold is not guaranteed after it leaves our property. It then becomes the buyer's responsibility. REPLACEMENTS will be made, when medical proof is given and only in the instance that a serious hereditary genetic issue is found such as extra teats or cryptorchidism. In. the instance that a genetic issue is found then a replacement will come in the form of another kid either from that year or the next years kiddings if no kids are currently available from the current year. We cannot refund kids after 30 days from date of signed sales contract for any reason but an replace with next available kid from the current or following breeding season.

Examples of serious genetic problems are, but not limited to, extra teats, cryptorchidism or sterility due to hemaphroditism.  There is no monetary refund for this.

Babies Health Care

What will my new babies have had as far as health care?

  • The dams of kids are vaccinated 30 days prior to kidding with CDT, that is for clostridium and Tetnus.

  • At one to two weeks old they are dehorned, & givin a CDT.(CDT can cause lumps or abcess at the site of injection)

  • At 6 weeks old they are wormed & tattooed.

  • They have been fed alfalfa/grass hay free choice and some non-medicated goat starter pellets.

  • We do  follow for coccidiosis prevention, but do recommend that the new owners treat for it if it becomes a problem. All goats carry this, and stress can bring it about.

  • It is common for shipped kids get “shipping Fever” after arriving in their new home, due to stress, etc, Always watch your new arrivals for runny noses & eyes, & loose stools and contact a vet if you do not feel comfortable treating the goat kid,

  • Goats leave the farm "AS IS" and IvyWild Dairy and its owner are not liable for any conditions or death after any animal leaves the property.

  •

*All of our kids are registered with the AGS or ADGA and if AGS are are eligible for ADGA registration.

*All goats were CAE,CL and Johnes tested before entering property.  Annually CAE/Jones test.

*We offer bottle babies occasionally and weaned kids more often (ask about rates)

*We do disbud all kids unless kid is paid for in full and buyer specifically requests not to dehorn.

* All goats are tattooed prior to leaving property and for an additional $75 fee can be microchipped as well by a veterinarian.

*Once animals leave the property they are sold as is and no refunds or returns accepted due to taking biosecurity very seriously.

*We do not guarantee that disbudded kids will not have scurs.

*Our kids all receive CDT vaccine.

We sell all goats and kids as healthy to the best of our knowledge and have a good working relationship with our veterinarian that monitors health.
